Sonoran Institute’s River Clean Up & Wildflower Party

Join The Sonoran Institute for 2024’s first “River Cleanup and Wildflower Party!” This family-friendly event, in partnership with The Ironwood Tree Experience as well as Tucson Clean & Beautiful, features ADA accessible activities, ensuring a safe and welcoming space for all. Thanks to the Tucson Ward 1 Participatory Budget De la Gente grant, we aim to remove 2000 lbs of trash and sow wildflower seeds.

Activities include:   River Clean Up, Wildflower Sowing, Food Trucks, DJ, Crafts for Kids, Live Reading by Logan Phillips & Prize Giveaways!

Gloves, trash bags & trash grabbers will be provided.  Please assure to wear closed-toe shoes, sunglasses & sunhat.  And don’t forget to bring a refillable water bottle to the event.
