Day of Connection: Going Green on the Rillito at Curtis Park

Join Tucson Clean & Beautiful and community partners on Saturday, March 16th, 9am-12pm for a Rillito River Restoration and Clean Up! We are connecting with the Rillito River and community on St Patricks Day Weekend! We might not find any leprechauns or pots of gold but, we will celebrate how lucky we are to have these waterways and the biodiversity they bring! Learn about invasive species and how removing them from the Rillito basin helps protect our treasured Saguaros & other native life. Wearing green is encouraged but not necessary! Children under 18 years old must attend with an adult. Like past days of connection the intention is celebrating the rich connectivity that makes our watershed and our region so culturally and ecologically unique! This means meeting new people & taking care of our environment together!

Locations:

• TCB @ Curtis Park. Meeting at: 2110 W Curtis Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705 @ the Children’s Playground on the West side of the Park.
