City of Tucson Environmental Services/Do More Blue Servicio al cliente disponible en españolPlastic bottles, jugs and all containers # 1-7 (including attached caps) and rigid plastics may be recycled in the Blue Barrel and at neighborhood recycling centers. (No plastic bags or foam accepted).

City of Tucson Household Hazardous Waste Program - East Outreach Site Servicio al cliente disponible en españolEnter from Prudence Rd. Accepts clean, reusable 5 gallon plastic buckets and lids. 1st Saturday monthly, 8 AM-12 noon (excludes 4th of July and New Year's Day holidays). Volunteers accepted, call (520) 690-5749. Training required before volunteer date.

Desert SurvivorsAccepts black plastic plant pots, especially 1 gallon and larger. Other colors and sizes of reusable pots may be available free of charge.

Iskashitaa Refugee Harvesting NetworkRefugees from around the world harvest excess fruits, vegetables and nuts from Tucson area residential yards, free of charge. Donations of plastic buckets, bins and crates are also accepted, for collection and storage of harvested goods. Accepts clothing and household appliances such as sewing machines and related supplies for repair and distribution to refugees’ homes to enable self-sufficiency.
