Sustainability
At Tucson Clean and Beautiful we believe that sustainable practices, when built into our everday lives, build a better future for everyone. We support, encourage and assist you in taking steps to protect and steward the natural environment that sustains us.
We provide an ever-evolving list of resources, including a community Recycling Directory where local businesses have added their name and information for proper disposal of certain items not accepted in your trash pick-up or Blue Bin program.
By integrating sustainability into our daily lives, through proper recycling, repurposing, and reducing our consumption, we can help address global challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, and environmental equity. Immediate and sustained steps today impact our collective future tomorrow.
Take Action. Explore sustainability programs and events in Tucson that are making a positive impact on our planet.

Master Recycler Training Program
The Master Recycler training program is a great way to learn about the many recycling, reuse, and waste reduction options available in Tucson. Co-hosted with The City of Tucson Environmental Service and other partnering community agencies, courses are held throughout the year at a variety of community locations and last approximately 18 hours over the course of 5 weeks (includes both weekday evenings, and Saturdays).
Master Recyclers are then asked to be key contacts within the community, attending outreach events, sharing information with their neighbors, friends, and community groups, and participating in recycling related events.
Program and sign-up is scheduled to begin Spring of 2025
