R.U.M.B.A. ( re-used materials becoming art) contest

R.U.M.B.A. (Re-Used Materials Becoming Art)  is an art contest with a public display and is a fun educational program held annually around April (Earth month) by Tucson Clean & Beautiful.  The “Recycled Art” competition is free and open to all students in kindergarten through 12th grade, homeschool included. Projects may be submitted by class, individually or as a group. Local dignitaries judge the students’ work and prizes are awarded across a range of categories. Through their artwork, young artist portray the urgent need to embrace our planet and ways to protect our environment by diverting waste from entering our landfill.

2024 RUMBA will be co-hosted with Children’s Museum Tucson. RUMBA showcase and competition will be held at Children’s Museum Tucson Earth Day Event, April 20th.
