*PLEASE NOTE:  Our vitex trees will be approximately 3 ft tall upon delivery. Please do not order if this height is an issue for you. Thanks!*

The Vitex, or chaste tree, is a lovely multi trunked small tree/large shrub and is easily identified by its lilac purple flower spikes that bloom during the summer. A native to southern Europe, the trees blossoms attract butterflies, and the lack of thorns make it particularly attractive to planting near high traffic pedestrian areas and walkways.
The Chaste tree is considered low maintenance, with most of its litter coming from the flowers, as well as the leaves which will drop during the winter. While it is a very drought tolerant tree, its health and growth rate will benefit from a regular watering schedule (especially during the summer).
