Cascalote Tree

The Cascalote tree is a short tree that is slow-growing. It has yellow flowers and has a similar look to the Bird of Paradise shrub. The trunk and branches have thorns and it is a Mexican native that does well in the desert. It can get frostbite though so keep it closer to the house.
