South Tucson Greenway Tree Planting

Help increase our City of South Tucson’s tree canopy, build strong communities and support Mayor Romero’s Tucson Million Trees initiative by volunteering to plant trees! Tree planting is fun for all ages, and volunteers always leave with a sense of accomplishment knowing they’ve had an impact that lasts generations. Enjoy food, music and fun activities for the kids! Please wear close-toed shoes and bring along a refillable water bottle (to reduce plastic waste). We supply all necessary tools, gloves, and filtered drinking water.
