Join us for a morning of hands-on stewardship at the Mountain Avenue Wash! We’ll be pulling buffelgrass, removing mustard weed with hula hoes, and picking up trash along this important neighborhood waterway. Whether you can stay for one hour or all three, every bit of help makes a big difference.
Tools Provided: Yes—limited supply
What to Bring: Your own pick (if you have one), Gloves, Water & snacks
What to Wear: Sun hat, Long sleeves & pants, Sturdy shoes, Gloves, Sunscreen
We need Pullers and Baggers for buffelgrass from 8–11 AM—come and go as needed. We also have 5 hula hoes available for removing mustard weed (an easier task than swinging a pick), so everyone can participate regardless of experience.
