Buffel Grass Pull to kick off SOS Month!

Beat back invasive buffelgrass to save our saguaros!

Join the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, along with Tohono O’odham Nation Natural Resources, Pima County Natural Resource, and Tucson Clean and Beautiful for buffel grass pull on “A” Mountain to kick off Save Our Saguaro Month!

SOS month starts February 4th until March 4th. You can help us save saguaros and the animals that call them home from buffel grass and fountain grass! These invasive grasses smother young saguaros and fuel fires that can kill both young and old saguaros alike.

Tools and gloves will be provided. Don’t forget to come with a refillable water bottle (to reduce plastic waste) and clothing and closed toed shoes equipt for outside work.
