Beat Back Buffelgrass Tumamoc Hill

Help Save the Saguaros by removing buffelgrass from the areas below Tumamoc Hill Rd., the area is relatively flat with only slight inclines, but very rocky. Sturdy closed-toe shoes and long pants are required for this project (absolutely no shorts, no open-toe sandals or flimsy shoes), as there are many cacti in the area. We will be digging buffelgrass up by hand – training available on site as well as gloves and digging tools (pick mattocks, digging bars, shovels).  For more information and to register for the event, go to www.buffelgrass.org .
