AARP Shred-A-Thon

Consumer fraud and identity theft are becoming an epidemic in our communities. To raise awareness and to promote prevention, the AARP Tucson is pleased to offer paper shredding services for residents. Personal documents flat, folded, stapled, and in envelopes will be accepted. Limit of five standard-size 12″ x 15″ boxes per household. Business documents, documnets with paper clips, binder clips, or rubber bands will not be accepted. No video or audio cassettes, CDs, DVDs, or credit cards accepted. Shredding will be completed on-site before you leave.  Your containers will be returned to you.  If your documents are in plastic bags, please leave them untied.  This is a drive thru service. Important: Event may end early if the shredding bins fill to capacity.
