    Corrugated cardboard boxes, paperboard boxes like cereal or shoe boxes, fiberboard like paper egg cartons, and paper milk and drink cartons are recyclable in Blue Barrels and at neighborhood recycling centers. Flatten boxes to fit in recycling bin.

    (Enter at Los Reales Rd. and Craycroft Rd. - south of I-10) - Accepts small quantities of automotive and household batteries (except disposable alkaline) from households free of charge at ABOP disposal area (Commercial hazardous waste not accepted). Open Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Household Hazardous Waste items accepted Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
    Also hosts a Neighborhood Recycling Center, for free recycling dropoff during business hours.
    The City of Tucson is a TCB Program Partner.

    (Operated by Tucson Recycling & Waste Services) - Accepts automotive and household batteries (except disposable alkaline) at ABOP disposal area. Monday through Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. excluding holidays.
  • Pima County Ryan Field Transfer Station
    (operated by Tucson Recycling & Waste Services) - Accepts automotive and household batteries (except disposable alkaline) at ABOP disposal area. Thursday through Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. excluding holidays.
  • Pima County Sahuarita Transfer Station

  • The Fairfax Companies, LLC - Ina Road Land Reclamation Facility
    Purchases cardboard, aluminum cans and PET plastic along with scrap metals, and accepts HDPE and mixed rigid plastics plus newspaper and office paper for recycling. Dropoff fees may apply for other material. Call for details. Commercial collection service available.
