World Water Day of Connection at Bonita Park

Join us for the 4th annual World Water Day of Connection at Verdugo Park on along the Santa Cruz River as part of spring Santa Cruz Watershed Days of Connection.

Saturday, March 20th between 8am-11am, come join the fun, music, snacks, stewardship and seed ball making! Tucson Clean and Beautiful, Sonoran Institute, United Way, Pima County, The Wilderness Society, and many other partners support our Days of Connection. The intention is celebrating the rich connectivity that makes our watershed and our region so culturally and ecologically unique. This means meeting new friends & taking care of our environment together.

• 7AM – Early Bird Walk and Stewardship, Event Set-up

• 8AM- Grounding and Welcome

• 8:30AM- Days of Connection Activities

• 10AM – Days of Connection Panel: World Water Day and Sacred Waters– Conversation about the ecological and cultural importance water has to various communities living in the Santa Cruz River Watershed.
