Kennedy Park Community Clean Up!

Join Tucson Clean & Beautiful and our partners, Friends of Kennedy Park & Friends of Danny Lopez Park for a morning of stewardship at Kennedy Park!

Help us remove litter, fishing line, hooks, and other debris from around the lake to create a cleaner, safer habitat for wildlife and a more enjoyable park for everyone. Volunteers will be walking the lake’s shoreline while one volunteer assists from a kayak to reach debris in the water.

Date: Saturday, August 8
Time: 6:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.

Meeting Location:
Meet in the parking lot near the restroom on the west side of the lake.
Address: 3357 S. La Cholla Blvd.

What to Bring:

• Plenty of water
• Hat and sunscreen
• Closed-toe shoes
• Gloves and litter pickers if you have them (we’ll have supplies available for those who don’t)
