Tree Planting at El Montevideo

Come help plant 150 shade trees and pollinator at a new neighborhood pocket park. This new corner parklet has been made possible by a grant from the Tucson Water Neighborhood Scale Stormwater Harvesting grant program and the committed energy of Montevideo neighbors.

Enjoy a couple of fun hours of labor with your neighbors, all ages and abilities are welcome.

Please wear close toed shoes and bring along a refillable water bottle.  We strongly suggest a sunhat.  We will provide plenty cool drinking water, gloves and all necessary tools and equipment.
