RUMBA (Re-Used Materials Becoming Art)  is an art contest with a public display and is a fun educational program held annually by Tucson Clean & Beautiful.  The “Recycled Art” competition is free and open to all students in kindergarten through 12th grades. Projects may be submitted individually or as a group. Local dignitaries judge the students’ work and prizes are awarded across a range of categories.

College students, community groups and professional artists are welcome to submit their works for inclusion in the public RUMBA display, however their works will not be judged.  Exhibition of professional art is free of charge, and at the discretion of Tucson Clean & Beautiful. Sales of items materials are not permitted in the display area (as they must be on display for the duration of the RUMBA event), however business cards may be left with the displayed items.

The next RUMBA  will be shown online.  The application is due April 3, 2020 and entries must be upload to Youtube by April 16th, 2020.
