This program provides neighborhoods with resources to plan and implement neighborhood scale stormwater harvesting within a City of Tucson public area. Neighborhood roadway rights-of-way, parks, and open space are suitable for projects. Stormwater harvesting when coupled with vegetation plantings, provides community benefits. It increases urban tree canopy, provides stormwater management, and mitigates urban heat island effects. Also, neighborhoods with trees are better for walking, and traffic moves slower. Learn how you and your neighbors can improve your neighborhood using this Tucson Water program.
